Weddings and Baptisms

Baptism - At First Congregational UCC, along with the general practice of the United Church of Christ, people may receive the Sacrament of Holy Baptism at any age. Infants, children, youth and adults. For infants and children, as well as for youth and adults who have never been baptized before, baptism marks their acceptance into the care of Christ’s church, the sign and seal of God’s grace and forgiveness, and the beginning of their Christian faith and life.If you have a desire to be baptized, please contact our pastor. 

Weddings - Because we are worshipping in the BW chapel, weddings must be scheduled through the chapel office well in advance of the date desired. Our pastor may be open to performing your ceremony at the chapel or at another location, schedule permitting. Please contact the church office if you are interested in exploring options for your wedding ceremony.
